“The final cost was almost to the penny of the bid.”
Craftmaster Homes builds exceptionally strong and beautiful homes. The building process was smooth and efficient, with Craftmaster handling every detail with aplomb and good cheer. We made some changes along the way, and they were incorporated into the build seamlessly and with great skill. The builder is always courteous and respectful, and so are his crews.
We had great concern over cutting back trees and the vegetation surrounding the build. No problem! Craftmaster solved this for us by bringing in concrete through a hose, and the trees were preserved beautifully, with minimal scarring to the land.
We had several decks and staircases in our design, and these were constructed to withstand heavy-duty usage and extreme weather. The entire house is so sturdy, ever though it is elevated (pier and beam); there is no wobble or vibration that can shake it. There was also a workshop built and with the builder’s keen eye and consideration, we were able to increase the ceiling height for very little extra cost.
We interviewed four or five builders in the Wimberley area, and Craftmaster’s bid was well within our budget, and upon completion, the final cost was almost to the penny of the bid. He has a way of making things affordable and cost effective for both labor and materials.
In addition, Craftmaster estimated that the work would take 120 days and he finished before the contracted amount of time. That in itself was amazing, given the details of the build, and the amount of coordination it took to bring crews to our remote area. The builder was always available to discuss each step of the construction and do walk-throughs with us as things progressed.
In short, we would hire Craftmaster Homes again, and can recommend their workmanship and ethic without hesitation. The company name says it all: Craftmaster!
